Description Akhil Laddha 2007-08-17 08:48:17 UTC
Example with respect to evolution with exchange server as backend and outlook web access :
When both clients are running parallel and user performs any folder operation
like create a new folder, folder rename or delete a folder in Outlook Web Access
(OWA),evolution doesn't display changes immediately, it requires restart to
sync with OWA and displays changes correctly.
But vice verse is working fine.If i modify any folder in evolution,OWA will
display that changes immediately.

Comment 1 André Klapper 2007-08-17 15:15:25 UTC
does one really have to restart? isn't switching the folder enough for message status changes? this only refers to folder *creation*, right?
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:36:37 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.

Let me just add that this bug still occurs with 2.30, using either IMAP or IMAPX. I’m not sure if it is an evolution bug or an eds bug.
Comment 6 Joachim Breitner 2011-11-17 17:47:42 UTC
By now I have found out that opening the Folders → Subscribtions window and selecting the current server also makes new folders pop up. But it still would be nice if this would happen automatically.
