setting date returns the error: date in wrong format

Version: 2.10 Kalendarz Evolution: data niepoprawna Evolution Calendar: inpropriate date evolution 2.10.3 fedora 7 Distribution: Fedora release 7 (Moonshine) Gnome Release: 2.18.3 2007-07-02 (Red Hat, Inc) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.0
When setting the date of the repeatable task in calendar:evolution the error occurs after verification: inappropriate start (end) date. Operating system is Fedora 7 with Polish language pack.
what is the output of "echo $LOCALE" if you enter this command in a terminal window? how exactly do you set the date? (by mouse, or keyboard?) can you come up with an example date? thanks in advance!

date examples: # date pią, 17 sie 2007, 08:58:46 CEST in Evolution:Calendar the representation is the same (17 sie 2007)
