Description Rich Burridge 2007-08-10 17:44:02 UTC
This is with OOo-dev 2.3.0 (build #223) Linux RPMs on Ubuntu Gutsy
(with all the latest updates and with Orca from SVN HEAD).

I've been working through the simpress tutorial at:

http://www.ischool.utexas.edu/technology/tutorials/office/impress/

I got as far as the instructions on:

http://www.ischool.utexas.edu/technology/tutorials/office/impress/01c_alt_view.html

The slide presentation area has tabs for

Normal, Outline, Notes, Handout and Slide Sorter.

By default, the Normal view is shown.

I changed views to the Notes Page with the View->Notes Page menu item.

Once I get there, there is no apparent way to keyboard navigate to
the area where it says "Click to add notes".

I'll file the matching OpenOffice issue and block this one against it.

Rich, assuming I'm following you: After you changed views, try Tab to get to the placeholder you want (i.e. Tab twice to get to the one that contains "click to add notes"). Press Enter to get into editing mode.

The OOo evaluator said something similar:

"Chnage to the notes page. Navigate to the main area with F6, hit TAB twice and
you have the notes area selected."

It's the magic F6 that gets me every time.

Thanks for your help. Closing as NOTABUG.
