GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 465114
No apparent keyboard equivalent to allow you to delete a record in OOo sbase
Last modified: 2007-08-17 17:36:18 UTC
This is with OOo-dev 2.3.0 (build #223) Linux RPMs on Ubuntu Gutsy (with all the latest updates and with Orca from SVN HEAD). I've been working through the OOo database tutorial at: http://sheepdogguides.com/fdb/fdb1tableone.htm I've done everything (working around previous OOo bugs I've filed) down to: " ... If you want to delete a row, right click on the grey area just to the left of the row's "ID" column. You should have a "Delete rows" option. Click it." There seems to be no way to get the focus to that grey area using the keyboard, or a similar option available via one of the tools menus. This looks like YAOOoB, which I'll file next, and block this one against.
OpenOffice issue #80542 has been filed for this problem. http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=80542
The OpenOffice issue has been closed "worksforme" with the following comments: "Work for me in a OOO 2.3 (m225) version. Select the row with CTRL+SPACE and press DEL key." I have verified that this indeed does work with the latest version of OOo-dev 2.3.0. Closing as NOTABUG.
