[blatant feature request]

If I copy a directory to a destination containing a directory of the same name,
it should offer to "merge" the directories, and prompt for skip/replace for each
identical file.

Merging is what Windows does with all directories, I believe. The Mac (and Be, I
think) replace instead. Each has pros and cons. Maybe we can get the best of
both somehow, but definitely not before 1.0.

supporting merge during copy/move operations opens a huge can of worms - for one
thing it is hard to resolve conflicts before starting the actual copy operation
without doing a costly traverse of both the source and destination trees. We
would probably have to present the conflict dialogs as the copy progresses which
would not be so great.

Taking bugs previously assigned to Pavel, assigning them to myself. Will parse
them out at my leisure , but many are GnomeVFS bugs we should look at for 2.0
