Description Vincent Untz 2007-07-31 07:31:57 UTC
When you have a message, the icon in the notification area blinks. There's a tooltip on this icon. If you leave your mouse over it, it often quickly disappears/re-appears (in less than 1/10 of a second, but it's noticable).

It might be a GTK+ bug. Or it might be caused by the fact that the two icons are not the same size. Or maybe empathy is setting the tooltip multiple times. I don't know.

I cannot reproduce here using latest svn ( r224 ), on kde ( if this matter ). Maybe it depend on the video driver or some external parameters ?

I can confirm this, using gnome and ubuntu 7.10 (which includes empathy 0.12)

I think it's because of bug #469902.
