Description Wirawan Purwanto 2007-07-30 16:58:27 UTC
The close button on gnome terminal tabs can be easily pushed on accident when my mouse pointer is flying around nearby (e.g. for clicking a tab). For this reason, it is good for gnome terminal to have "prompt when closing terminal" option. If enabled, then a prompt should appear when we are to close a tab, to which the user can confirm to close the terminal.

For a computational scientist like me, the content of a terminal is all too precious to lose, and this accidental pushing of the "X" button on the tab (or on the title bar, for that matter) should be avoidable.
