I think totem could include a button to show the embedded video in full screen. Currently, you need to right click on it, open with totem and then enable full screen. If a button is not appropiate maybe another right click option could be useful. I think currently is not very discoverable and many video players on ther plataforms (divx ...) have this option easier to find.
