In the the Macintosh Finder you can hold down Option while you
double-click a folder to close the folder you're in at the same
time as you open the new folder.  I haven't been able to figure
out if there's any way to do the same thing in Nautilus.

(Open-in-the-same-window is a partial substitute, but it tends
to end up with the wrong size window for what you're looking at.)

Nice idea for a feature. We added this on Macintosh just before System 7. We
called it "tunneling".
