What were you doing when the application crashed? I attempted to play audio encoded in Flac by Sound Juicer. It may also be relevent that attempting to play audio in a terminal window gave the error message "cannot open audio device." Resolving the Alsa error fixed the problem. I'm now able to play the Flac audio in question without crashing. Also, this bug is a duplicate of 458543 and 458544.
