What were you doing when the application crashed? Listening to an .ogg. (Had been listening for about four hours, no problems.) Happened at the very stroke of midnight- dunno if that has anything to do with it? This looks like bug 413801 (frequently reported by fc7 users), which happens when no audio devices are available when playback starts. Since it sounds like you were already playing something, maybe it's a different bug? As ever, a stack trace with debug symbols would help.
