Works for me, both with totem/GStreamer from CVS and versions in Feisty.

Could you a *:5 debug log please?

 $ export GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1
 $ GST_DEBUG=*:5 totem http://torahyoga.com/audio/who-is-db-ty.mp3 2>dbg.log
 .. quit or Control-C when it ends and hangs ...
 $ bzip dbg.log

Forgive me if I'm missing something here - The bug report is for the totem PLUGIN in Firefox 2.0.0.4 in FeistyFawn - standalone totem works perfectly! - is there some way to get a debug log while running Firefox and trying to play the embeded mp3 files?

One other symptom seems to be the length of the file.  For the shortest mp3 file (http://torahyoga.com/audio/when-where-ty.mp3 on the "When/Where" page of torahyoga.com) the slider moves.  It is still impossible to re-play however.

Oops - the shortest mp3 is on the "What Happens" page of torahyoga.com (http://torahyoga.com/audio/what-happens-ty.mp3) - There isn't any mp3 on the "When/Where" page - sorry!
