Description Michael Van Dorpe 2007-06-23 22:44:25 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Evince prints by default with paper size setting 'letter', while I'm in Europe and I expect evince to know that the default here is A4.

Steps to reproduce:
I noticed this when doing the following

1. Get A4 pdf from the internet.
2. Print several pages of that pdf to a new file
3. Open the new file

Actual results:
Then, you see that the bottom of those pages is cut off! This is of course caused by the fact that A4 pages are longer than letter pages.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
According to Wikipedia, only the US, Canada and Mexico uses Letter. Everyone else uses A4.
