GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 442527
Mortgage Druid doesn't work
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:38:04 UTC
I'm using gnucash with Mac OS X (v2.1.1) and Windows (v2.1.2) as a French USER. When I try to use the Mortgage druid, the scheduled transactions seems to be empty. When I go back to the scheduled transaction Editor I can see in the template : Emprunt - Remboursement | Actifs:Actifs Actuels:Compte Chèques | | pmt(0,15000 /12.0 : 6,0 : 15000,00: 0 : 0) Emprunt - Principal | Passif:Comptes de dettes | ppmt((0,15000 /12.0 : 6,0 : 15000,00: 0 : 0)| | Emprunt - Intérêts | Dépenses:Ajustement | ipmt(0,15000 /12.0 : 6,0 : 15000,00: 0 : 0) | | There is a mix of "," and "." charactere in the formulas ??? And when I click on the "Valider" (OK in English) Button I've the following message : "Incapable de traiter la formule de débit pour la répartition « Emprunt - Intérêts »."
I've found the log file and I can read plenty of this type of lines : * CRIT <gnc.engine.sx> [ld_rev_recalc_schedule()] pmt Parsing error at .0 : 6,0 : 15000,00: 0 : 0) I hope it will help
I watch the code. In druid-loan.c (l930, l943, l956) the 12.0 is coded hardly without using the local conventions for decimal separator. I hope theire will be a patch soon
Dup. (In reply to comment #2) > I hope theire will be a patch soon Given this has been known about for a few years, and I'm not planning on dealing with it in the near future, you shouldn't expect a patch in the – say – 2.2-release timeframe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 170729 ***
