Description Mike 2007-05-25 23:53:10 UTC
When you add a directory to the Places sidebar in Nautilus, you can right-click it and rename it. However, this does not work for directories mounted over FTP/SSH/etc. It's possible to work around this by removing the network mount and remounting it under a different name, or (as Juhaz on irc.freenode.net/##gnome tells me, didn't try myself) changing them in gconf's /desktop/gnome/connected_servers/. Shouldn't Nautilus (or whatever handles the network mounts) provide a feature to change this?
