Description stefan fleck 2007-05-25 15:47:07 UTC
Please describe the problem:
i am using tomboy 6.3 from the ubuntu repositories (feisty fawn)
i have ~170 notes, some with umlauts some with other special characters (notably § (Paragraph Character) and !), most multiply words, some only single letters (chemical elements). i use the plugins "export to html", "fixed width" and "backlings"

my problem is that seemingly random words get recognized as existing notes (red, underlinded, and when i click on them a new note is created). those words do not have the WikiWord characteristics, and i also have "recognize wikiwords" switched of. this is rather annying since it seams those "false positives" get more and more which really decreased readability of the notes :(
hope someone can help me

Steps to reproduce:
seams to happen randomly, sometimes to longer words, sometimes to smaller (the smalles beeing the two letter word "in"

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

This bug is ancient (1.5 years old without activity) and sounds suspiciously similar to bug 323845 to me. That one provided a fix that not only closed the associated bug but at least one other problem as well. I'm confident that this problem is solved by the same patch as well. If you still have the same problem, feel free to reopen this bug.
