GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 44080
Copy dialog shows source and target uri as the same in the 2nd and subsequent copy phases
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
How to reproduce: 1. open two nautilus windows to different directories 2. Copy one or more files from one directory to the other notice that after the first xfer phase, the source and target uris are the same. ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2000-11-15 15:24:01 ---- *** Bug 44751 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** ------- Additional Comments From pavel@eazel.com 2000-11-16 14:17:45 ---- good find :-) ------- Additional Comments From pavel@eazel.com 2000-11-16 20:28:09 ---- Stupid typo. ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2001-01-03 20:31:26 ---- *** Bug 44151 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2001-01-04 16:13:29 ---- This appears fixed in a CVS HEAD build. However, I'm running into two separate problems while verifying this bug that I'm going to investigate before closing this one out: 1) Sometimes, the target URI (and title) is not displayed by the copy dialog. 2) Copying a file when overwriting an existing file will result in source (I think) window minimizing after the copy. ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2001-01-04 18:00:02 ---- The scenario to reproduce both of these problems is to right-button drag a file window from one window to another directory which already contains that file. Choosing "Skip" in the dialog results minimizes the destination. Choose "Replace" results in a messed up file copy dialog --- "2 of 1 files", and no destination shown. Pavel, I'll file this as a separate bug. ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2001-01-14 17:10:58 ---- Will file side-issues later. Verified. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:44 ------- The original owner (pavel@eazel.com) of this bug does not have an account here.
