What were you doing when the application crashed?
just  logged into ubuntu, nothing else

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.

Hello, thanks for the feedback.  Do you mean this is fixed in the next upgrade of gnome or what piece of software exactly?

Bug 403752 (which this is a duplicate of) was in tracker which was called by the tracker handler of deskbar-applet. This has now apparently been fixed in tracker, and the next release of it will have the fix.
