Description Brian Pepple 2007-05-06 14:06:56 UTC
In the theme-friendly-icons gnome goal:

  http://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/AppIcon

We made all apps run gtk-update-icon-cache in install-hook. They also should
call it in uninstall-hook. Refer to #362604.

Patch looks good to me.

PING
Comment 3 Christian Kirbach 2008-02-03 17:01:40 UTC
Now we are in hard code freeze and this patch has to rotten up to Gnome 2.24.
Not very nice for patch contributors.
Comment 4 Kjartan Maraas 2008-07-08 07:21:33 UTC
Can we get it in this cycle then at least?
Comment 5 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-07-15 10:24:05 UTC
Kjartan, the module isn't maintained at all anymore (no activity in the last two years), so I think you can just commit the patch to trunk, as it's obviously good, coming from a well-tested GnomeGoal.
Anyway, if you prefer, I will do it for you.

May I commit the patch so that we can finally close this?
Comment 7 André Klapper 2008-08-22 20:23:21 UTC
There have not been any code commits to Gnopernicus for more than two years, and Gnopernicus has been superseded by Orca in GNOME.
Gnopernicus has been moved to the SVN archives today, and the developers did not respond to any emails.
Hence I'm closing all remaining 25 open bug reports as WONTFIX.
