GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 435823
Nautulis crashes when trying to connect to ftp://mirrors.kernel.org
Last modified: 2007-10-21 21:32:20 UTC
First filed here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=238425 Steps to Reproduce: 1. CTRL+L to bring up the address bar 2. type ftp://mirrors.kernel.org 3. select connect anonymously click "connect" Actual results: nautilus crashes Expected results: connect to the ftp site Additional info: I tried a couple other ftp sites and I can connect to them fine. The downstream bugs has some initial inconclusive debugging attempts. This seems to be related to directory symlinks.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!
Hm... maybe I should try reading the upstream bug report first.... copy+pasting in here.
