Description Tao Yue 2007-05-03 07:13:17 UTC
It would be nice if the Generic import transaction matcher sorted by date when importing a QFX file. Or at least offered the option to sort by date (currently, clicking on the date column header does nothing). Currently, it's presented in the same order as it appears in the QFX file (and for some reason, Chase Bank sends them in some kind of random order).

With credit card websites, you frequently don't know if you've included the correct range because dates might be a couple of days off. Once you've imported it in the register, it becomes a real hassle to find what's missing. But if it were presented up front during the import dialog, it becomes crystal clear.

This is still the case in 2.2.1. It would help tremendously to implement this sorting.
