Description Martin 2007-04-22 11:23:51 UTC
This may seem like a small thing, but I find it very annoying. When I create a new layer with Ctrl+Shift+N it brings up the New Layer dialog. 99 times out of 100 I use the same settings for every new layer, so I don't want to mess with this dialog at all, I want to hit Enter and get rid of it. But I can't. So I can use a keyboard shortcut to bring it up, but I have to use the mouse to make it go away. This is very annoying.

This is already fixed in the development branch and will be in 2.4

IIRC, you can Shift-Click in 2.2 already to skip the dialog.
