When you open a new tab the input cursor goes somewhere... I'm not sure where. To get to the address bar you have to click on it with the mouse, or shift-tab key a couple of times and tab key a couple of times.

I think placing the cursor in the address bar when a new tab is opened would better than the current behaviour
