Description adam050986 2007-04-18 19:42:05 UTC
Hi,

I am an old Windows user, at the time, I was Using the best Vidéo Sotware of old time : the good old "Windows Media Player Classic" (A free fork of Windows media 6/7).

The first (very) annoying thing is the cursor. For example, if you are at 1/4 of the video, and you click in the above 3/4 of the video, the cursor only moves a bit, and not to 3/4 like it should... :-/
Thus, the cursor is way too big !!

The second thing is the GUI under the cursor. You only have "|<<" "|>" and ">>|". Why isn't there "<<" and ">>" ("fast backward" and "fast foward") ???
Thus, some other quick button could be nice :
-"Eject"
-"Full Screen"
-"Ratio"
-"Repeat"
-"Shuffle"
-"Hide HUD"
-"Balance"

Place could be done by removing the name "panel" in "|> Panel" (Keeping only the little "|>").
The best thing would be to get all the button above, and to add/remove them by the "Preferences" window...

First point is a dupe of bug #129671.
Fast-forward/Speed control is a dupe of bug #113723. Other buttons would be bloaty --- the actions can be accessed via the menus, and they're not things you're going to change very often.

Marking as a dupe of bug #129671.
