When you click the clock/calendar applet, it brings up directly evolution.
Now that exists different e-d-s clients like "Dates", the user should have the possibility to choose the one he likes.
It would be ubercool to have that setting in the GNOME's "preferred apps" panel, but even a gconf key could be a nice start
