Description Shlomi Israely 2007-04-16 08:20:06 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Hello,

While using a Hebrew user interface the Show/Hide option of layers does not work (the `eye` icons adjusted to the layers' names). It works with English Interface.

The system is Ubuntu 7.04, though this also happened with Debian Etch.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the Gimp with he_IL.UTF-8 locale (must be installed)
2. Click on the eye before the layer's name, to hide it.

Actual results:
Nothing

Expected results:
The corresponding layer should hide.

Does this happen every time?
yes, though only with Hebrew (and probably other RTL languages).

Other information:
I'm not a mandriva user, but I recall seeing similar issues with it's package manager a few years ago, when the check box for installing packages was unclickable only with RTL-mode interface.
