Description Rolf Bjarne Kvinge 2007-04-04 19:17:37 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Maximizing a window that has a maximize size specified removes the border of the window and doesn't maximize it.

Steps to reproduce:
Use test case in #327543.

Actual results:
Maximize the window using the maximize buttons: the borders are removed and nothing else happens.

Expected results:
The borders should still be there and the window should be maximized to it's specified maximum size.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Why did you file a duplicate? You know about the original bug (bug 327543) as evidenced by your comment.
Comment 2 Rolf Bjarne Kvinge 2007-04-09 15:54:43 UTC
The main issue I found was that the borders disappear, something that bug-report doesn't mention, so I figured it was not a duplicate.(In reply to comment #1)
Comment 3 Elijah Newren 2007-04-09 17:03:49 UTC
Ah, okay. That wasn't mentioned in the other bug, but that was still the behavior for metacity-2.16.x (the fix only went into metacity 2.17.x). Thanks for following up.
