Description John Williams 2007-03-23 01:18:04 UTC
On mail messages that are longer than a screenful, when you click on the message header in the "Messages" column, the body of the message appears on the right, but scrolled to the bottom of the message.

Why? Is there a reason for this, or is it a bug. It certainly seems wrong to me.

"on the right?" are you using the horizontal view?
can you try to disable caret mode (F7)?
are there animated images in that email?
does it happen with any email?

Thanks. "Caret Mode" (Whatever the hell that is) is indeed the culprit. But should caret mode operate in this manner.

And yes, I am using horizontal view.

No, there are no animated images.

Yes, it happens with any email.

Thanks!

John
