Description Johannes Rohr 2007-03-22 11:01:42 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Rhythmbox periodically checks for new postcast episodes. When the computer resumes from hibernation, it apparantly checks before NetworkManager has restored the network. This naturally fails. What annoys me is that rhythmbox pops up an error message for every single podcast.

This means that I either have to exit rhythmbox before going into hibernation or I have to click "O.K." just about twenty times after resuming.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Be subscribed to many podcasts
2. Have rhythmbox periodically check for new episodes
3. Suspend the computer and resume after the refresh time has passed.

Actual results:
As said above - dozens of error messages

Expected results:
Either rhythmbox should wait until the network is restored (which should not be too difficult, as long as network-manager is present. Or it should pop up a single error for all failed checks.

Does this happen every time?
