Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

This is fixed in 2.8.x and 2.9.x, available at
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/gthumb/2.8/ and
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/gthumb/2.9/.

This is fixed in the FC7 development repo ("rawhide").

It should have been fixed in FC6, but the package maintainer has ignored me... http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=217517
