When in learn mode, the Firefox-specific keys are not presented to the user.  Instead their key name is just presented (e.g., 'h' instead of "Goes to next heading").

Really?  They are presented to me -- as long as I'm in Firefox when I enter learn mode.

Aha!  Each time I tried it, I guess I was in an editable text area.  When I move outside the text area, learn mode works.

"Aha!" back at ya.  Each time I tried it, I wasn't in an editable text area.   :-) So.... What do we want to do here?  On the one hand, learn mode should detect those keys/commands; on the other hand, in the context of an editable text area, H gives you an H and does not move you to the next heading.

After some discussion, I think we all agreed that the current behavior is technically correct.  That is, learn mode is context sensitive and will tell you what Orca would do in the current context.  In the context where focus is on a text entry area, the 'h' and other normal typing keys do not cause Orca to do anything, so they are merely echoed.  In the context where focus is on something else (e.g., static text), the 'h' and other special Orca keys for structural navigation do have an effect, so the approriate learn mode text for them is presented.  Closing as not a bug.  Thanks!
