Several distributions have dropped cdrtools and are using cdrkit now instead. Brasero should work even without having to create symbolic links from cdrkit binaries to cdrecord ones. Debian has a patch for an older version which maybe can be used: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/b/brasero/brasero_0.4.4-4.diff.gz

I added support in trunk for wodim. That should work now. If someone can test it and report so I can close this bug.
