Description Sandy Armstrong 2007-03-03 18:36:31 UTC
There is now a Plugins tab in the Preferences dialog, and this tab has a button for "Open Plugins Folder".

Having an entry in the applet/tray context menu might just be clutter at this point.

Thoughts?

Obviously this can't go in for 0.6.0 (UI freeze).
Comment 1 Sandy Armstrong 2007-03-03 18:42:07 UTC
It may also make sense to replace "Tools->Open Plugins Folder" with something like "Tools->Plugin Preferences", or to remove it entirely.
Comment 2 Boyd Timothy 2007-03-03 22:08:48 UTC
I agree on both of these points. There's always the chance that we could ask for release team approval to make the change still for 0.6.0, but let's definitely take care of this next time around.
Comment 3 Sandy Armstrong 2007-03-12 05:41:51 UTC
Fixed in r1075. I removed every "Open Plugins Folder" menu item. Our users will let us know if we need to add something like "Tools->Plugin Preferences".

Sandy's last comment got me thinking... it's probably a good idea to have a Preferences entry in the Tools menu, that just opens the prefs dialog. It would be a lot more discoverable than the current right-click menu.
