The following three patches are currently being applied to GDM on Solaris.  I think that these patches make GDM work properly on the Solaris platform and are needed for patch in bug 108820 to work.

My plan is to add these three patches to GDM 2.19, but I would like people who can test translation changes to test them on other platforms if possible before I put the patches in.  Let me know if there are any issues.

This patch normalizes all LC_* settings to LANG and starts input methods (IIIM->XIM), and starts up XIM.
