I believe we want to be able to support users on older versions of GNOME and on other desktops like KDE.  Switching to this new keybinding stuff at compile time is one solution, but it sucks for anyone who uses multiple desktop environments (maybe it's a shared computer, etc).

Anyone have ideas for how to fix this bug correctly for all of our users?

1. Compile-time detection (I need to add a pkg-config file for it, as compiz wants to know where the keymap file will end up)
2. That KDE supports our keybindings configuration files
