This would be really good for web view.
This isn't implemented in 2.1.2. I tested this with the gnome ftp-site.

Just tried this. Seems to work here. (Nautilus 3.6)
I've tested nautilus 3.6 too. I get auto-complete in the location bar on an ftp folder. Given the age of this bug, I'm closing it as obsolete. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
