GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 400609
time-admin in only one size (and in old gnome-style)
Last modified: 2008-02-22 11:42:59 UTC
Please describe the problem: The time-admin launcher is only using a 48x48 icon right now, meaning a rather blurry icon on the menu, window menu and other places. It is also drawn in the "old" gnome-style, attached is a icon in 16x16, 22x22, 32x32 and 48x48 following the new icon guidelines. These should be installed into ~/icons/hicolor/apps/ Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Created attachment 81188 [details] here is the new icon
Created attachment 81206 [details] same file, but tiny fixes and some metadata Alberto Ruiz provided some small touch ups on the 48x48 image and I added some metadata to the file.
Cool icon! However, time-admin is using the icon "config-date" from the icon theme, the gnome-icon-themes one is in: http://svn.gnome.org/viewcvs/gnome-icon-theme/trunk/48x48/apps/config-date.png?view=markup so perhaps these new icons should go there? if not, I haven't any problem in including them in g-s-t.
Rodney Dawes said this should go into gnome-icon-theme, reassigning.
hm, not much action here, should we ship them with gst anyway?
What is hindering this from being put into g-i-t? A time management tool is common, and inclusion in g-i-t is much easier then adding it to g-s-t at this point... Please fix this before gnome 2.20!
