Please describe the problem:
"Change desktop background" file chooser does not permit navigation to or selection of network files.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Right-click on desktop
2. Select "change desktop background"
3. Voila... no network stuff visible


Actual results:
Can't navigate to network files

Expected results:
I can't see a reason why I shouldn't be able to!

Does this happen every time?
