GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 395636
Missing shortcuts for "Mark all read" and "Collapse all threads"
Last modified: 2008-06-21 17:58:39 UTC
There don't appear to be keyboard shortcuts in Evolution assigned to the tasks "Mark all read" (folder menu) and "Collapse all threads" (view menu). I'm recently trying to move from Thunderbird to Evolution and I'm missing these shortcuts severely. FWIW, TB uses Ctrl C for "Mark all read" and \ for "Collapse all threads.
Bump? any Evolution developers out there?
I am also looking for those shortcuts
This is something I would personally like to see as well. I also switched from Thunderbird to Evolution and I'm trying to use it as my newsreader. Collapsing all threads is something that I do regularly after reading through a few threads and want to go back to a more manageable view of which threads I haven't read yet. I should mention you can also access this function using ALT+v following by t, but it would be easier having a single accessible key for it.

Conflict : "Shift+Control+A" is used for creating a new appointment Roshan , you need to find a key binding that doesn't conflict; Marking patch as need-work.

Seems fine for trunk.
Thanks for the patch! Patch committed to SVN trunk as r35674 http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/evolution?view=revision&revision=35674
