Duplicate of bug#394287 bug#394336 but with 2.0.4. Can you please start gnucash on the command line, reproduce this crash, and send us the output on the command line at the crash? Also, do you think you can submit a (small) sample QIF file that shows the same crash ("create a new attachment" below)? Thanks a lot.
Created attachment 79983 [details] Sample QIF File
This is output on the command line at the crash... [manu@margaux ~]$ gnucash throw from within critical section. ** (bug-buddy:5028): WARNING **: Impossible de charger l'icône pour Ouvrir le dossier "/usr/bin/gnucash": not in executable format: Format de fichier non reconnu [manu@margaux ~]$
What version of guile do you have? I just tried this using 2.0.4 on my FC5 system (with guile-1.6.7-8.fc5) and it didn't crash at all (although it did remove the non-UTF8 characters in the text.
My guile version is guile-1.8.0-8.20060831cvs (Original FC6 RPM)
Now how did I guess this?
(In reply to comment #6) > Now how did I guess this? > Sorry on i don't understand your question...
Sorry, it was a rhetorical question.. There seems to be a guile-1.8 issue that doesn't exist with guile 1.6...

I'have installed guile-1.8.1, no changes...
