GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 393456
File paths with the last folder path having same prefix cannot be added to beagle search
Last modified: 2007-08-30 20:24:39 UTC
File paths whose last folder has a name whose prefix matches that of another folder cannot be added for eg /media/hda3/music and /media/hda3/music+* cannot both be added
Cannot both be added where?
closing INCOMPLETE from lack of response
Im sure I replied back before :S Anyways the problem is in the Beagle Search preferences When you are adding additional indexing paths you cannot add paths such as /mnt/folders/foo and /mnt/folders/foo(+anything else) Basically if the starting part of the path name exactly matches a previously added path it cannot be added.
