Description Maximilian Federle 2007-01-02 11:40:19 UTC
Please describe the problem:
On my soundcard (SiS SI7012) the volume is controlled with the PCM control, master just does nothing. With the keybindings being (probably) hardcoded to Master my audio volume doesn't get changed when pressing one of the specified keys.
This should be changed so that the same channel is used I specified in the mixer applet.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Buy a mainboard with the same soundcard
2. Install a gnome distribution (e.g ubuntu)
3. Listen to music and press the volume keys on your keyboard

Actual results:
Nothing

Expected results:
PCM should be increased, decreased or muted.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
