Steps to reproduce:
1. Start gnumeric
2. Ctrl/N (open new window)
3. Ctrl/O s n Ctrl/C (copy the sheetname to buffer)
4. Ctrl/W (close the window with selected sheetname)
5. Now the opened window does not respond.

If you press ESC between steps 3 and 4, everything goes OK.

Sorry, step 3 should be:
  3. Alt/O s n Ctrl/C (copy the sheetname to buffer)

This is on FreeBSD-6-STABLE, Gnome 2.16.

Looks like a gtk bug to me, see bug 388321.

Gnumeric-part of this fixed.  The main part is in gtk+, but I added a patch
for bug 388321.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
