Description Ivan Marin 2006-12-14 11:35:12 UTC
Please describe the problem:
After 6 days of intensive use (simulations, graphics edition, latex tex edition, coding, games ;-)) a kernel patch made me to reboot the machine. I just went to the "reboot" button, and it took more than a minute to gnome to close the session. The rest of the reboot went normal. Rebooting now is ok.

Steps to reproduce:
Yes, very often, after a heavy load in the machine.

Actual results:
One minute plus to close gnome-session.

Expected results:
Close immediately.

Does this happen every time?
Very, very often.

Other information:
Dunno what can I add here. Don't know how to profile gnome ;-)

Could you still use GNOME during this time? Or did it look frozen?
This is either a duplicate of bug #333870 or bug #155321, I guess.
Comment 2 Ivan Marin 2007-01-08 15:09:21 UTC
No, I was not able to use GNOME. Nothing works, and sometimes the gnome-applet-bar closes, but the background picture stays.
More likely to be duplicate of 333870.
