GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 384519
sound-juicer does not remember changes to disc artist
Last modified: 2008-01-05 13:49:30 UTC
Please describe the problem: For discs whose disc-ID is NOT in Musicbrainz, sound-juicer ignores changes to the "disc artist" field when ripping and encoding. Encoded files are otherwise OK, but instead of saving as under the proper Artist (where filename should be /Artist/Album_Title/01_song_title), it saves under whatever Musicbrainz says the disc artist is. Steps to reproduce: 1. Obtain a CD whose disc-ID is not registered to Musicbrainz 2. Correct/change disc artist 3. Rip CD. Actual results: sound-juicer will NOT reflect your change. Expected results: Correct (changed) data should appear in filename! Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:
I'm seeing this in Ubuntu Edgy's 2.16.1. Extremely annoying.
