Description Alex Latchford 2006-12-09 18:16:25 UTC
Hello,

I am reporting this on behalf of Arief Mulya Utama, I am inclined to agree that Evolution would be enhanced by the addition of a Filter Shortcut key. The original report can be found here:
   https://bugs.launchpad.net/products/evolution/+bug/30806

The original bug report:

In the mail window, it will be nice if the filter criteria field has an associated keyboard shortcut on it.

For the shortcut, I would suggest the same shotcut used in Firefox to access its location field (Ctrl-L).

I found myself pressing Ctrl-L overtimes whenever I want to filter my mails in evolution.

Thanks again, Alex

Bumping version to a stable release.

Assuming that this is about search instead of message filters:
Alt+C works (mnemonic access) in version 3.2, and no plans to provide a "real" shortcut as there aren't many left.
