I get a lot of these warnings:

sys:1: GtkWarning: gtk_tree_path_down: assertion `path != NULL' failed
** (gedit:9624): WARNING **: Dummy not visible???

This happens when I run "gedit &", select current directory as "root" for file browser plugin and run "make clean".

Fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major release. Thank you for your bug report.
