Description Jude 2006-12-07 23:46:12 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
using Ubuntu 6.10 - all updates
1. open banshee for the first time
2. enable Audioscrobbler support and use the configuration tab to enter account details
3. when the software attempts to submit the track banshee crashes with an error message indicating that there was an error writing to '/home/<user_name>/.gnome2/banshee/plugin'

The fix was as simple as creating this directory. After creating the directory the file AudioscrobblerQueue.xml was created.

I looked at the existing bugs and was surprised when I didn't find one relating to this (maybe I didn't look good enough?)

I can probably confirm this... there are a few Ubuntu bugs about this, for example https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/71797
