Description Willie Walker 2006-12-06 19:50:22 UTC
This is a placeholder bug to track an accessibility issue in ekiga. Ultimately, we may want to provide custom scripting for the chat in ekiga (as we did for GAIM). We'd also like to see accessibility provisions made in ekiga, however, because the current limitation in ekiga hurts more than just Orca users (i.e., it can also be a burden to people with physical impairments who'd like to cut/paste chat information, such as URLs, hints, etc.).

Looks like the underlying bug has been fixed. Putting this in [pending]
state so that we know that it needs to be tested.

Setting the target for closing this bug to 2.19.4 and making Mike the owner. The reasoning is that the GTK+ fix will be in the GNOME 2.19.3 release, so Ubuntu builds of 2.19.3 will be available for testing some time before 2.19.4.

Just as a quick follow-up here. For me, gutsy is still to unstable to attempt any real testing of this bug or any other.

Joanie and I verified this as being fixed on OpenSolaris b73 with Vermillion 75 (GNOME 2.20.0). Woo woo! Closing.
