Description Martin Jürgens 2006-12-02 13:30:39 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Totem browser plugin shows "Error: Can't parse that no files" when trying to play an embedded video, i.e.

http://cgi.omroep.nl/cgi-bin/streams?/tv/nps/nova/bb.20061108-a.asf?start=0:0:0.1&end=0:32:55.0;embed=1

http://www.prosieben.de/lifestyle_magazine/galileo/videoarchiv/popup_video/32608/index.php?ausgabe=play&rate=low&video=/lifestyle_magazine/galileo/videoarchiv/popup_video/32608/

This does not happen in the 2.17 version of Totem, though it would be nice to have a patch for the 2.16 version to have it integrated into the stable release of Ubuntu.

Downstream bug report is here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/71113

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.prosieben.de/lifestyle_magazine/galileo/videoarchiv/popup_video/32608/index.php?ausgabe=play&rate=low&video=/lifestyle_magazine/galileo/videoarchiv/popup_video/32608/
2. The error appears

Actual results:
The video does not play and "Error: Can't parse that no files"

Expected results:
I would except to be able to watch the video.

Does this happen every time?
It does happen every time.

Other information:
I will attach the full output of Firefox when trying to watch the video.
